We like to keep it simple and have formulated our foundations as LIGHT (Birch) – MEDIUM (Camellia and Magnolia) – DARK (Aspen & Elm).
As the seasons change our skin tone reflects those changes, especially during the summer. And as always, for evening/night time you need a little darker foundation than you do during the day. If you are in Zoom meetings all day, you need a little extra color to help keep you from appearing washed out.
We created a new mineral makeup sampler set to give you the opportunity to blend your colors to meet your specific needs without having any waste. Did you know that our foundations, bronzer, and blush can all be used as eyeshadow? You can also use it as an eyeliner and apply it to our lip balm to create your own custom lip color! How to Make a Cream Foundation
- Simply squeeze a small amount of the Purely Lotion, Face Moisturizer, or Sun Protection Cream into the palm of your hand.
- Sprinkle whichever color or colors you desire on top of the lotion and blend.
- Apply to your face in a gentle circular motion with your fingers or makeup sponge.
Using Mineral Makeup as an Eyeshadow
If you want to use the colors as eyeshadow just apply as usual using an eyeshadow brush.
Using Mineral Makeup as a Lip Color
If you want to apply the colors to your lip balm use a lip brush to apply the color after applying the lip balm.
Using Mineral Makeup as an Eyeliner
If you want to use it as an eyeliner, use an eyeliner brush, dab it in a tiny bit of water, then dab the brush into your color of choice and apply it as a liner.
