To Tone or not to Tone, that is the Question

Toning the skin has always been an important part of any skincare routine because it not only provides that extra cleaning that reduces the size of your pores, but it also helps to balance your skin’s pH and to lock in moisture. It is usually the missed step, and albeit it is the MOST important step as it preps your skin for hydration and softening.

What type of toner is best for you?

Let’s look at the two different types of toners we offer.

1. Toning Mist

A pleasant mist is all you need to hydrate and improve your skin tone, balance the pH, reduce redness, and prep for the next steps. Non-drying and alcohol-free, using pure aloe vera and rose water to gently tone the skin.

2. Witch Hazel & Aloe Toner

A topical astringent, offering 14% naturally occurring alcohol from witch hazel. Witch hazel (Hamamelis Virginiana) has long been identified as a medicinal herb that grows in North America. Balancing the witch hazel is pure aloe vera, giving this toner a slight astringent that heals, soothes, and tones.

Tip!

Keep them in the refrigerator, too! A few sprays during the day are a great pick me up and a great way to keep skin hydrated!
